this is a sketch from a painting in this wonderful book of pinups by gil elvgren i recently picked up at b. dalton. i've been trying to move away from just the portraits and learn how to draw whole figures. i'm not sure if i'll finish the chair or anything, might just scrap it. i like the way her face turned out though.

beautifully done, very classic. I'd love to see her hands more deffined (the knuckles mostly) and the chair and her wrap seem too unfinished.
